Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website manteiros.strangeskills.com and the contracting of services and the purchase of products and gift vouchers offered by Quinta dos Manteiros. By making a booking or placing an order, the customer declares that they have read and accepted these Terms.

1. Identification of the provider

2. Purpose

These Terms apply to the provision of tourist accommodation services and experiences, as well as to the sale of products and gift vouchers, through the website or by direct contact with Quinta dos Manteiros.

3. Services, bookings and products

Accommodation and experience bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed after confirmation by Quinta dos Manteiros and, where applicable, after the corresponding payment. The characteristics, conditions and prices of each service, product or voucher are those shown on the relevant page at the time of contracting.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include the taxes applicable at the legal rate in force. Payment is made through the methods provided during the booking or purchase process. Quinta dos Manteiros reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors.

5. Gift vouchers

Vouchers are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase and are subject to availability and prior booking. Unless otherwise stated, vouchers are non-refundable and may be transferred to third parties.

6. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and change conditions are those communicated at the time of booking. Requests to change or cancel a booking should be sent to the contacts listed in point 1.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under Article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February, the consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, without having to give any reason.

Exception applicable to accommodation and experiences: under Article 17(1)(l) of the same law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport, catering or leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Bookings with a set date are therefore not covered by the right of withdrawal, and the cancellation conditions in point 6 apply.

8. Complaints and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Customers may submit a complaint through the Electronic Complaints Book or via the contacts listed in point 1.

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity. 9. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the website, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of the district where Quinta dos Manteiros is domiciled, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of consumer protection.
